Community Immenstedt
Immenstedt is a small community at the Imme, a distributary of the Arlau and has ca. 550 citizens. There still 15 full time agricultural farms and several part time farms. Apart from the three hotels 'Immenstedt-Bahnhof', 'Immenstedt-Kiel' and 'Haus Heidewang', there is a car workshop and 'Silke's Bloomendeel'(flower hall). The right thing for every occasion can be found here. The hotel 'Immenstedt-Bahnhof' has a federal bowling alley.
The 'Dörpshuus' and the barbeque hut at the forest are the meeting places for many clubs, which form Immenstedt's villge life.
94ha forest is situated at the east of the village, which belongs to the county forestry and ca. 34ha farming wood. North of the wood are roughly 35ha uncultivated moor areas situated. There are many tour options for hiking and cycling.
